6 Reasons Why the University of Michigan Should Hire DJ Waldow

Flickr: racbannonLast week, I received a DM (private Twitter message), an email, and a text message – all directing me to this job opening: Social Media Director at the University of Michigan.

If you were to search my email & browser history or followed my Facebook posts and Tweets on football Saturday or during college basketball season, you’d know that I bleed Maize ‘N Blue.

That’s why when I saw the job posting for the Social Media Director at U of M, I was giddy with excitement. As I read through the job description, I realized that it was written for me! I believe that everything happens for a reason.

So, without further ado, I present to you – and Lisa Rudgers (Vice President for Global Communications and Strategic Initiatives at University of Michigan) – my 6 reasons why the University of Michigan Should Hire DJ Waldow Social.
