The Work Talk Show: A Podcast About How Work Gets Done

I’ve always wanted to be a radio host. I mean, how cool would it be to say, “This is your DJ … DJ.” Right?

As of last week, I can officially say that I’m now “DJ DJ.”

Well, sort of.

I’m thrilled to announce the new, weekly podcast that my buddy Nick Westergaard and I just launched.

Introducing … THE WORK TALK SHOW

The Work Talk Show is “a weekly podcast featuring a talk show format along with crazy smart guests who operate outside the lines of what work has traditionally looked like.” Conversations include discussions on work habits, work-shifting, virtual teams, productivity, travel, tools, technology, work-life balance, and everything in between.

In simple terms, The Work Talk Show focuses on how work gets done today.

I’m really excited about The Work Talk Show for a few reasons:

  1. It’s a topic that neither Nick or I are experts in – we are merely living the new way that work gets done today. This means that we get to learn from our guests too!
  2. We get to chat with super-smart, funny, insightful guests. Tom Webster was our first guest and today we posted our conversation with Chris Brogan. We’ve already recorded the 3rd podcast with my dear friend Krista Parry (spoiler alert: we talk about the show Parenthood). The one and only Ann Handley is on the docket for #4.
  3. We flat out have fun.

As you can imagine, we have plenty of ways to join in the conversation. You can go directly to The Work Talk Show website, join the LinkedIn Group, and “like” us on Facebook.

Why so many options to engage? Simple. This is not a topic that can effectively be covered in a 25-30 minute podcast. We want to hear from you. We want to learn from you.

Let the work talk begin!
